MagnaBioSciences is a privately held company, founded in 2000 to develop and commercialize highly sensitive, rapid identification and monitoring products with broad applications in Medical Diagnostics, Food Safety Testing, Veterinary Health, Biodefense, and Environmental Testing. The company is headquartered in San Diego, California. MagnaBioSciences leverages its operations with its parent company, Quantum Design, which provides management support and capital resources.

MagnaBioSciences has developed a suite of instrument systems that incorporates it’s patented Magnetic Immuno-Chromatographic Test (MICT®) technology. These instruments utilize an extremely low cost disposable test cartridge to quantitatively interpret test results in less than 20 minutes.
