The MICT® Bench-Top System features a built-in computer processor, LCD touch screen and simplified user interface for use in clinics, laboratories or urgent care facilities. Quantitative diagnostic test results are displayed and provided as printed results. Aspects of test results (such as test ranges and cut off values) can be customized to specific application needs. Qualitative diagnostic test results are displayed as positive (POS) or negative (NEG), eliminating the need for subjective interpretation of visual results. The system is designed to simplify laboratory procedures, while reducing test costs and improving disease diagnosis and patient care.

This reader features a touch panel graphical user interface and a docking station that serves as a battery charger. The MICT® Handheld System allows USB interfacing to common peripherals such as a computer, printer, or Smart Card reader. The MICT® Handheld System application is Windows CE compliant.
